The Measurement of ABI0TIC FACTORS on Sand Dunes
The Abiotic Factors in any ECOSYSTEM are those which are non-living (BIOTIC FACTORS are to do with things in the environment which are living, like competitors, predators etc.).
On a Dune System, the obvious abiotic factors are those to do with the soil (called EDAPHIC FACTORS), and those concerned, broadly, with the atmosphere, such as temperature, wind speed, rainfall etc.
