Rock Pools

Rockpools constitute one of the most fascinating habitats for study that can easily reached by the non-diver, or foreign traveler. Within them, and in easily accessible points often quite high on the beach away from the dangers of open water and the swell of the tide, is another and quite alien world. The above panorama is of a large pool at about Mid Shore Level on Cable Bay on the West Coast of Anglesey.
