The Effect of Fire on Shore Organisms

Fire clearly has little significance for intertidal organisms. However, it is worth just pointing out that fire, although generally regarded as 'a bad thing', is a very important and necessary, abiotic factor. This paper is worth reading if you can get hold of it;
